What we collect

We only collect personal data when you send us a message through the contact form. The form asks for:

• your name and email address (required, so we can reply)
• your business name (optional)
• the services you’re interested in (optional)
• anything else you choose to tell us in your message (optional)

Please don’t include sensitive information, such as health details, in your message.

Why we use it

We use your details only to answer your message and, if you ask us to, to prepare a proposal. The legal basis is taking steps at your request before entering into an agreement (Article 6(1)(b) GDPR), or our legitimate interest in answering messages sent to us (Article 6(1)(f) GDPR). We don’t use your details for newsletters or advertising, and we don’t sell them.

Who else handles your data

Messages sent through the form are processed by Formspree, the service that receives the form and forwards it to our email inbox. Formspree is based in the United States, which means your data is transferred outside the European Union. You can read how Formspree handles data in Formspree’s privacy policy. Your message is then stored in our email account.

Our hosting provider may keep short-term technical logs, such as IP addresses, to deliver this website and protect it against misuse.

How long we keep it

We keep your message for as long as we need it to handle your enquiry, and delete it no later than 12 months after our last contact, unless it leads to an agreement. In that case, we keep what we’re required to keep by law.

Cookies and local storage

This website does not use cookies. It doesn’t use analytics, advertising or social media tracking, and it doesn’t embed content from other websites.

If you choose a language with the NL | EN switcher, that choice is saved in your browser’s local storage under the name lang, so the website can remember it on your next visit. It stays on your device, isn’t shared with anyone and is only saved when you use the switcher. You can remove it at any time by clearing this website’s data in your browser settings.

The fonts on this website are hosted on the website itself, so no data is sent to font services.

Your rights

You have the right to access, correct or delete your personal data, to restrict or object to its use, and to receive your data in a portable format. To use any of these rights, email contact@hkgstudio.nl. We’ll respond within one month.

If you’re unhappy with how we handle your data, you can file a complaint with the Dutch Data Protection Authority, the Autoriteit Persoonsgegevens.

Changes

If we change how we handle personal data, we’ll update this statement and the date at the top of this page.
